Tamarack Fans - Whole House Fans
The Tamarack HV1000 Whole House Fan, Tamarack HV1600 Whole House Fan and Tamarack Ghost Whole House Fan are designed
to cool and ventilate your entire home by pulling warm, stale air up and out of the
home while drawing fresh cool air in. The Tamarack fans are quiet, they can be
installed in spaces with attic access. The benefit is that with a Tamarack whole
house fan mounted centrally, it will cool your entire house from one centrally
located fan (Large homes may require multiple whole house
fans). And for those warmer places where air conditioning is used - a Tamarack
whole house fan will reduce you air conditioning bill substantially.
The Tamarack whole house fans can be controlled with a wall mounted switch plate or
with optional remote control on certain models. Also, a wall timer you can turn on the fan at night
and then have it go off before the outside temperature begins to rise.
For example, in Vermont - we turn the whole house fan on at 7:30 pm and then turn off at 5:00 am
at the lowest temperature of the night.
With this flexibility you can control when and how much air flow moves through your home by simply turning
on or off your Tamarack fan to reach the ideal comfort level.
In many climates, a Tamarack whole house fan may even eliminate the need for an
air conditioner. Tamarack fans are more energy efficient than air conditioning, and
that's good news for your pocketbook and the environment.
The Tamarack whole house fans are maintenance free and simple to install.
A standard 3-prong power cord is included on the Tamarack Ghost Fan. This option allows for simply
plugging the fans into an attic outlet and use the included remote to turn the fans on or off and
control the fan speed. Also, all the HV models are 3-prong power cord with certain models that have
the remote included.
